“I have survived Postpartum depression/anxiety three times. When people ask me my story, it’s hard for me to tell, not because of all the hardship it brought, but because each experience was so different it’s hard to combine it into one. One thing that was consistent is I suffered from OCD thoughts. After the birth of my first son, I started to have intrusive thoughts. I would see horrible images flash before my eyes, and then I would spend hours evaluating and wondering why.”
