The great thing about fashion is the uniqueness of it all. No two people wear a piece the same way. Body shapes, heights, and even personal style (accessories people) all add individual flare. But when you come across a piece that is individual in itself, that’s special.
I love brands that create multi-wear pieces. That’s just what Encircled is all about. Helping you create a smaller wardrobe with more versatility. The Revolve dress can be worn every which way from all twisted up to off the shoulder. Mini or midi or somewhere in between. I love the function of a piece like this in your wardrobe because it adds so much potential.
The fact that it’s sleeveless gives you the added benefit of layering which I did here with this kimono (it’s also a dress, and look at that fab zipper!). It could also go with a sleek leather jacket or denim or chunky cardi. Dress it up with heels or down with flip flops and a messy bun. Whatever you do, don’t underestimate the importance of multi-function pieces in your closet.
Where is everyone on the eco-conscious closet? I have to say I’m still working on it. I don’t buy from places like Old Navy on the whole but there are exceptions here and there. But, I just feel better when I find a brand that’s as unique as it is ethical. Encircled focuses on creating functional capsule closets and encouraging consumers to consume less.
I’m all about saving space in my house with fewer things and that starts in my closet. It may seem like as a fashion blogger, the wardrobe must be brimming but by choosing items carefully for fashion and function, I am able to create look after look without breaking the closet (or my wallet). Plus, I have lots of nieces so the excess always has somewhere to go. I’m excited to find another brand that cares about its carbon footprint and creating unique quality fashion: Encircled in a nutshell.

It’s time brands became more aware of their carbon footprint. Good on them. Great dress. I love how you can play with the neckline! xx Maria
