You all know about my obsession with the “After the Storm” shirt. Well, here’s another favorite from the same small business. It’s funny because my friend, Ashleigh sent this “Suck it Up Buttercup” tank as a gift after I ordered all the Rainbow shirts for all the peoples. That’s not the funny part so don’t laugh yet. It’s that my favorite candy of all time is Justin’s Peanutbutter Cups and she had no idea when she sent the shirt.

Now that I’m finished rambling, let’s talk about all things sunshine. It was a gloomy, overcast, crumby day but I wanted to get some shots of this fab (reversible!!) floral skirt by Rora. So, I got all dolled up and walked out into the raindrops, I mean rays of sun. Oh well, I had it in my mind that we were using that umbrella, so we did.

Let’s talk about this Rora Clothing skirt, and I want to talk about it a lot so this may be my first but for sure won’t be my last blog post about it. Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of eco-conscious fashion. I wish my whole life was more eco-friendly and environmental and rainbows and butterflies. But, right now, I have four kids (no, I’m not old enough to have four kids…I adopted a few, right?). And, it’s just hard. So, when I find something easy that fits into my goal of living more earth friendly, I go with it. That’s where this skirt comes in. Not only is it from a new NYC fashion designer but it’s, get this, reversible. In fact, most of the pieces at Rora can be worn multiple ways and you know that’s kind of my thing. Who wants a piece you can wear once before getting sick of it and moving on? Not me!

Stay tuned because, you’re going to be seeing this skirt again very soon and we’ll talk more about why versatility is important in your wardrobe (it’s good for your closet, your pocketbook, and the planet).
