I wish I’d done a Timelapse of rearranging this room but I so rarely think of it that it didn’t even occur to me. I gave it a deep organize at the beginning of January to get it back in shape from adding my new Row machine. Then, we moved the bike. Honestly, I’m still not 100% happy with how it is at the moment but I can’t for the life of me figure out the optimal placement for my gym equipment, the tutoring table (for my little), and my fashion office. As it is, this space functions well for so many needs in such a small room, but I’m sure it could be better!

Cleaning all the spaces and this was the next on my list. Down and dirty tip: when cleaning cupboards and closets, take everything out and start with a fresh space. This closet is a constant dumping ground and disaster. I know it won’t stay clean because I am not the only one who gets into it but it will at least do a little better now that I got that huge pile of things set aside to purge (bonus of having a booth, I can try to sell things before I give them away). Do you have spaces like this in your home that need to be sorted every couple months?

Never a dull moment at the Fuller Menagerie. We got puppy stairs and I’m not sure if they’re having more fun climbing or we are, watching. Which pup is the cutest? I mean I couldn’t have a favorite or anything as their mom but you’re free to!

Also, note the yorkie looking on suspiciously. He’s still not sure if they’re safe or not. He’d rather balance precariously on a blanket filled chair and leap into oblivion than trust that new contraption.

Yes I can…finally clean up my workout mats with this #gifted @fullerbrushco sweeper. It picks up the fine dust and dirt that my vacuum misses on my gym mats. And look at all that hair it picks up that I didn’t even see. Vacuuming is nice for big messes but it just doesn’t get the fine dust and the puppy fur that this sweeper can. I mean the after doesn’t even look that much better but at least you can walk in my closet again so I’d say it’s a win (and I have clothes I had forgotten I even owned so it’s like a whole new wardrobe just opened up!). The January refresh continues. I feel like Halloween through New Years are always so busy that I don’t have time to breathe let alone fold my clothes into neat little rectangles a la #mariekondo (which I did after I filmed this video). Also, I don’t make my bed. I just realized I probably should have done that for the sake of this little Instagram project but I’m keeping it real! Also, for some reason half the shoes in my closet only had one shoe. Which made sense when I was wearing an ankle boot but now? I have a feeling some little four legged furry things are to blame. At least they just like to carry my shoes around and don’t eat them for the most part!

It’s either me or the house, we can’t both be put together at the same time. Guess one I usually choose? (Hint, it’s usually the cover view and not the reel view;) Anyone else in major new year motivation mode? I want to clean all the things, save all the money, and get my life into some semblance of order. Give me a few and I’ll be back to my old chaotic, nothing has a home, and instead lives on my kitchen table self. By the way I spent a solid THREE hours on this bathroom that day. No joke, when I deep clean I don’t play around. But, I’ll be honest, other than cleaning out my second antique booth, I haven’t had time to do one other thing around this house so the rest of it is looking pretty sketch. When one room gets cleaned, my family is off destroying another 3 (at least!).

Oh were you here for a cleaning tip? Sprinkle baking soda on your shower pan or tub, pour some dish soap over, top with vinegar. Give it a light scrub. Let it sit for 30 minutes+ (the longer it sits the looser the dirt). Scrub again. Your shower has never been cleaner. Can’t remember where I got the hack but I used it after a particularly tough bout of morning sickness (all day and night for 5+ months sickness actually) on a particularly grimy shower and the results were amazing. Now it’s my go to once or twice a year to keep things sparkling!

The ween wants to know why we can’t keep the Christmas tree up year round. I’ve decided real or fake, I will always be cleaning up Christmas tree needles. At least #gifted @fullerbrushco keeps it easy with their sweeper. I love that it picks up all those little specks the vacuum leaves behind. With four dogs, three cats, and four kids, I need all the help I can get to keep my house tidy. I’m finding it’s a one two punch for me- the vacuum takes care of the big stuff and then I use this little guy to get my floors really clean. It’s just too convenient not to keep around. Plus, I couldn’t resist having a cleaning accessory with our name already monogrammed on it ;)

I’m still over here like: I need to wear cute clothes in the winter too ya know. Where’s your motivation level at? I’m somewhere between I could live in leggings and I need a cave to hibernate in. But yet, I put on my face most days because even if I am just going to see my kids and my husband at least it makes me feel human. Also, if you’re waiting for me to get back to you about anything please add 3-7 business days because I just finished cleaning out my second booth at the antique store (that we decided wasn’t profitable) and now I feel like I’ve done enough for the week, month, year. I want to clean all the things, save all the money, and get my life into some semblance of order. Give me a few and I’ll be back to my old chaotic, nothing has a home, and instead lives on my kitchen table self. By the way I spent a solid THREE hours on this bathroom that day. No joke, when I deep clean I don’t play around. But, I’ll be honest, other than cleaning out my second antique booth, I haven’t had time to do one other thing around this house so the rest of it is looking pretty sketch. When one room gets cleaned, my family is off destroying another 3 (at least!).

Oh were you here for a cleaning tip? Sprinkle baking soda on your shower pan or tub, pour some dish soap over, top with vinegar. Give it a light scrub. Let it sit for 30 minutes+ (the longer it sits the looser the dirt). Scrub again. Your shower has never been cleaner. Can’t remember where I got the hack but I used it after a particularly tough bout of morning sickness (all day and night for 5+ months sickness actually) on a particularly grimy shower and the results were amazing. Now it’s my go to once or twice a year to keep things sparkling!

The ween wants to know why we can’t keep the Christmas tree up year round. I’ve decided real or fake, I will always be cleaning up Christmas tree needles. At least #gifted @fullerbrushco keeps it easy with their sweeper. I love that it picks up all those little specks the vacuum leaves behind. With four dogs, three cats, and four kids, I need all the help I can get to keep my house tidy. I’m finding it’s a one two punch for me- the vacuum takes care of the big stuff and then I use this little guy to get my floors really clean. It’s just too convenient not to keep around. Plus, I couldn’t resist having a cleaning accessory with our name already monogrammed on it ;)

I’m still over here like: I need to wear cute clothes in the winter too ya know. Where’s your motivation level at? I’m somewhere between I could live in leggings and I need a cave to hibernate in. But yet, I put on my face most days because even if I am just going to see my kids and my husband at least it makes me feel human. Also, if you’re waiting for me to get back to you about anything please add 3-7 business days because I just finished cleaning out my second booth at the antique store (that we decided wasn’t profitable) and now I feel like I’ve done enough for the week, month, year. Peace out 2023 (too soon??).
