The tee shirt dress may be the most basic staple of a modern mom’s wardrobe. It is easy to wear, versatile, and easy to accessorize. Because the design of the dress is so plain, the styling options are limitless. Dress it up or dress it down, just wear it.

Start with any tee shirt dress. Here I am wearing the camo dress from the Mint Julep Boutique. I love the style of the dress (it has pockets!) and now want it in all the colors. I’m not normally a camo girl but this dress caught my eye and it’s so soft, I can’t say I’m sorry. But, if you’re more of a solid color gal, it comes in those too.

The biggest thing to keep in mind with a tee dress is that it is a straight shape, so styling it is about adding shape. There are some simple ways to do that: add outerwear, a long necklace, a belt, knot it, or tie something around your waist.

Change the vibe of the dress with shoes, jewelry, hair and makeup. Dress it up with pumps and a bracelet stack or down with sneakers and your favorite fitness watch. Wear it with boots for date night.

However you wear it, a tee dress is something you need in your closet. It’s a staple that can stretch your wardrobe and even help you form a capsule so you need fewer pieces. Fewer things cluttering up your life?? Sign me up for that please!
I know I’ve been MIA but I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things and hoping to be around here a little more often.
So cute and lovely on you dear, especially when you styled it with the black coat.
