Things to do together.

Luggage: c/o ifly

Travel. Secure a babysitter (if you need one;), make some reservations, and go somewhere. A planned destination date (it doesn’t have to be far) is an amazing gift and luggage is something we all need. Pop a note or some tickets in a pretty suitcase and give your Christmas wings. I am loving this matching his and hers carry on luggage from iFly. And, I also love the affordable price tag.

Bonus, this cute travel case is adorable on the go and not just for trips. Store your makeup or jewelry in it anytime to keep everything organized.

Card game: c/o Vertellis; Men’s slippers: c/o ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company; Women’s Slip Ons: c/o ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company

Date night. A movie night (popcorn, snacks, and the perfect couples movie ready on prime) Or movie tickets. A gift certificate to your favorite restaurant and this card game for couples from Vertellis. Aimed to spark conversation, this unique game consists of cards filled with conversation starters. You’ll never be at a loss for words again. Plus, it’s stocking sized and perfect for a night out or in.

Not just for couples. We played this holiday edition of Vertellis on Thanksgiving and had the most fun. This would be a great gift for parents, siblings, or friends or buy the family edition and start the conversation with your own kiddos.

What a BOY wants.

Watch. This may not be for every man but mine is obsessed with watches. This year, he got a new Daniel Wellington. I love their classic but sleek design. Use my code MOMMYINFLATS for 15% off your purchase.

Games. Anything you can play together from board games to electronics (we love playing World of Warcraft and are thinking of picking up Diablo for the switch). See above for my summation of Vertellis for couples. Or check out this Murder Mystery subscription box I found recently- I haven’t tried it yet but it’s priced reasonably and could be something fun to do on a date night out or in!

Inserts: c/o ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company; Men’s Shoes: c/o ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company; Women’s Boots: c/o ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company

Shoe inserts. Quality inserts can make such a difference especially for people on the go. Really this could go for men or women because Abeo footwear (from The Walking Company) gifted my main squeeze several of the highest quality inserts. He’s tried quite an array and says his old Dr. Scholls don’t compare to these. They’re comfortable, supportive, and breathable. Abeo also carries so many shoes, you won’t be able to choose just one pair (I never can! Be on the lookout for some holiday looks coming to the blog soon).

Slippers (really this is a gift for both of you since you don’t want him wearing his shoes in the house, amiright?)- my pick is this cozy pair from Abeo footwear– perfect structure slipper to give him the shoe feel without the germs tracked around your floors.

Other top choices: this comfy pair from Jambu (use my code MOMMY18 for 15% off your entire purchase).

I also love anything Bearpaw and they have so many options for him and her (use my code BPAMBJF for 20% off your whole order).

Flannel and other pieces from quality brands- like these from Ecoths (use code MOMMYINFLATS20 for 20% off your first order).

What a GIRL wants.

Shoes. Oh where to start? My two favorite brands right now will have to do.

ABEO Footwear from The Walking Company. With a wide array of styles complete with orthotic inserts, they have everything for the woman on your list. The hardest part would be picking just one so you may want to go with a gift card and let her do the deciding.

Jambu. This brand is all about the adventure. I love that all of their shoes are ready for everything from rain to mud to snow. Even their dress shoes offer a rubber sole to protect your toes from the elements. Check out their sales going on right now and use my code MOMMY18 to get an extra 15% off (plus until December 15 get free shipping). Even I couldn’t pass up this deal!

Bag: c/o Latico Leathers

Wearable Art.

Bag: c/o Latico Leathers

There is nothing quite like a leather bag. I’m loving my pieces from Latico Leathers this year. I just swapped my warm tan summer bag for a sleek black design for the cooler weather. They also have a huge selection of wallets as well. Pretty much anything you could want for a woman on the go.

I love buying artisan pieces. So, when I need a new bag or wallet, I check out small business first. These bags are handmade and the details exquisite. Tall Pine Mercantile sources their beautiful pieces from small businesses. Give them a peek for a range of gift ideas.

Jewelry.

Go small and check out these small online boutiques and get something unique (I almost never buy my jewelry from big retailers- I love unique accessories that express your individuality). These bracelet stacks from Arely Designs are my favorite. I love the tall stacks because you can wear them together or separate.

I also love the selection of jewels from Tall Pine Mercantile (everything is small business sourced and most are made to order).

Another favorite mama small boutique is Little Wander Shop. I love their diffuser necklaces and the druzy collection.

Skincare.

Shop small, source organic. When it comes to beauty, homemade is the way to go. I love this new company Lila Naturals based out of Austin, TX. Her home made masks, face butter, lip balms, and more are perfect for every skin type and luxurious for any self care routine.

Check out AVJorden for some body pampering creams, balms, and body scrubs. This mama is busy rocking the natural skincare world with her super smooth and silky products. I love the peppermint body cream for the holiday season. It’s part of my nightly routine to get out my favorite body cream of the moment (I love relaxed cool lala for the warmer months and Lavender is amazing all year round) and have my very accommodating husband give me a foot rub. Insomnia managed thanks to a little AVJ!!!

Asterisk boutique has so many amazing things but my favorite has to be her handmade soaps. They’re the perfect consistency, scent, with just a bit of something scrubby and best of all they leave your skin moisturized and silky smooth. Even if you don’t need soap- check out her wide selection of women’s clothing and accessories- she has something for all the women on your list, and maybe something for you too.

Other mama run small businesses: Soap at Home, Sanctuary Beauty
